There were some Sterling sounds on display by Foden's Band at the 2026 Whit Friday Marches, as the Sandbach band enjoyed considerable contesting success.
The euphonium section of Mark Bousie and Sterling Artist Mark Glover (deputising for regular Foden's player Gary Curtin), drew widespread praise for the sound on their Sterling instruments.
Conducted by Michael Fowles, Foden's stormed to victory in the Tameside contests for the 23rd time in 24 years, winning a plethora of villages along the way.
