A treasured brand is due to return to the forefront of brass band music making this weekend, with Sterling Musical Instruments set to appear at the 2025 British Open Championship.

New Sterling Virtuoso euphoniums and baritones will be available to try at the exhibition stands of the prestigious event, which welcomes many of the finest brass bands to compete in Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on Saturday, September 6.

News of Sterling Musical Instruments’ return follows the brand coming under the umbrella of John Packer Musical Instruments, with the stable also comprising Rath Trombones, Taylor Trumpets and Rudall Carte.
